Job Description
Perform chromatographic and ASTM testing on vegetable oils, used cooking oils (UCO), and final oleochemical grades. In this role, you will work alongside global team hubs to supervise operations and optimize biofuel distribution frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute raw material assessments using GC-MS, HPLC, and wet chemistry testing methodologies.
- Ensure final biofuel batches conform to ASTM D6751 and EN 14214 international standards.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation to keep diagnostic uptime above 98%.
- Record test results in LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) with absolute audit integrity.
- Investigate off-spec batches and suggest corrective actions to process engineering teams.
Required Skills & Toolsets
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or Chemical Technology.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on laboratory experience, ideally in petroleum or vegetable oil analysis.
- Familiarity with ISO 17025 certification requirements is a strong asset.
